The Tour 2019
On our first visit to The Vale Resort I think most if not all of us were impressed with the resort and it's facilities. Both the Lakes Course and the Welsh National were very well presented. Our first round was on the Lakes Course which had some pretty holes but also had some severely sloping fairways. The general consensus was that the Welsh National that we played on the following two rounds was the more appealing. Europe ably lead by Captain Dave Light moved into a strong lead after Day One, but the Rest of the World lead by Captain Carl Rogers fought back on Day Two to reduce the margin to a manageable level, but on Day Three Europe surged ahead to take the Cup.
From the positive feedback we are off to The Vale in 2020 to celebrate our 25th Tour.
